Thirty years in the heart of Durham

International Delights has called Durham's 9th Street home for over thirty years — family-owned from the start, and still cooking the same food that made people fall in love with it.

A true gem! A warm, family-owned business where you can taste the love in every bite. The lamb sub on perfectly baked bread was outstanding, tender, and full of flavor. The Greek salad was fresh and vibrant, and the baklava was hands down one of the best I have ever had, sweet, flaky, and clearly made with care. Everything feels homemade and full of heart. This is officially my new favorite place, and I will be back!

My family and I have gone here since I was in high school! (2010 😱) And the food has always been reliably delicious. Seasoned well, made fresh, and a wide array of options. Anytime I'm in town visiting my family this spot is on the list! I'm partial to the falafel platter and my family comes every week for gyros. Owners are very kind and friendly! My favorite thing is the sage tea. If you have time to sit and relax it is a must.

I can't believe I just found this place! Unbelievably fresh, flavorful, and so delicious. The owner came out and checked on us three times and gave us baklava to try. Recommend Chicken Shawermah and Beef and Lamb Gyro. The hummus was incredible as was the Tahineh. And the baklava was heavenly deliciousness. We will return as often as possible!!
